There's some good ideas going on here, but I think if you cut out a lot of the reverb, it'd bring it to a 4.

FelTiProductions responds:

I was thinking the echo delay was too much.

Your ability to be chill and go hard has been mastered.

BrokinPaper responds:

The use of piano was great. Definitely added a lot of passion to the DnB

SpazeMusic responds:

Thanks man! :D

Super chill... maximum overchill.

SRT-M1tch responds:

SO much chill.

Hey dude, I really like atmosphere of this song. Would you be a interested in a collaboration of using parts of this song to make a hiphop beat?

Imaginary-Friend responds:

Why the heck not. :)

I do believe the best part of this song is the description. But yeah, seriously, what is mix. EQ.... compression? Wat do?

xxxZigZagxxx responds:

Thanks bro sometimes I ask myself the same question. but i have realised the answer. the answer lies in layers upon layers of soundgoodizer and sausage fattener on top of the master track. that is truly the secret to make a song truly popping, especially out of the back of the trunk inside the hood. if you put the soundgoodizer, maximus and the sausage fattener on top of the master track, then all the girls will come wanting to kiss you and become your wife.

sincerely,
ZigZag

For one sitting, that's actually pretty crazy. Just a recommendation, if you work on a layer or portion and are really happy with it, you could theoretically export that section to bring it back later. This is what I used to do: Get the harmony out, then the melodic parts, then the beat/bass and then any icing on the cake (effects and background sounds). You could take it or leave, but just a thought.

xxUltimaWeapon responds:

Thanks for the advice. I never thought of that. I'll have to try that out. I just realized what you accomplish when you export it out piece by piece. It gives you the opportunity to start where you left off when you import it back in. Thanks for the review!

A little more variation would be good. I guess it'd probably be fine with lyrics though.

The sample wouldn't happen to be Hypnotica fom TSFH, would it? I've listened to that album too many times.

freezwalm responds:

yes it is

I've listened to this song a bunch of times. I really like it, because of how emotional it is and how relaxing it is at the same time. Just thought I'd come back and mention that.
